Harmonie Brown, BS, LADC

Fairmont Program

Harmonie achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Minnesota, Morris, in 1999.  She has always had a strong desire to help others beginning at a young age.  Her background has been primarily in the adult mental health field since graduation from college.  She became aware through working with clients that many were dealing with co-occurring addiction issues.  She returned to school in 2013 at Minnesota State University, Mankato, to obtain her licensure in Alcohol and Drug Counseling in order to better serve her clients.  She began her career as an LADC in an outpatient setting and transitioned to House of Hope in March 2017.  She believes that integrated treatment, addressing both mental health and addiction issues simultaneously, is a key to success in recovery.  In her free time, Harmonie enjoys listening to music and spending time with her children and pets.
