Carmen started cooking at the House of Hope in April 09. She worked in an office for 30 years prior to coming here. She states that everyday here is a learning experience. She never pictured herself cooking for a group of 45 people, but really enjoys it. Carmen has 3 children, and 2 grandchildren- who she loves spending time with. When she’s not busy with them she enjoys watching the Twins, and is a die hard Survivor fan.
