Amanda graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2001 with a major in Corrections and a minor in Chemical Dependency. She completed her internship with the Adolescent Treatment Center of Winnebago and was hired as a counselor. After a few years she started working in the school setting and providing outpatient services at Addiction Recovery Technologies. She worked for Addiction Recovery Technologies in various capacities until 2018 when the House of Hope purchased them. Since her time with House of Hope she was the CQI Coordinator role and in 2022 moved into the Vice President of Clinical Services role. When not at the House of Hope Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and spending time at the lake.
