House of Hope’s residential programs serve adults 18 years of age or older.  We offer co-occurring, medium intensity treatment utilizing an integrated and holistic philosophy with a habilitative approach customized to each individual’s needs.

Clients appropriate for residential programming are medically stable and have established a foundation in recovery.  This is usually achieved through completion of detox and/or a high intensity treatment program.  The average length of stay is 90 days, although this may very dependent upon the clients need and funding.

Clients of House of Hope residential services will receive a minimum of 15 hours of programming each week which includes at least one individual session, group therapy, psychoeducation and programming with support persons. Following a mental health screening, they may be referred for on-site mental health services including diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family/significant other/support person counseling, psychological testing and psychiatric services.

In addition, residential clients have access to “Specialty Groups” on a voluntary basis which include (dependent upon interest and availability): meditation, Celebrate Recovery, GED, creative expression (dance, creative writing, art etc.), recreational/fitness opportunities, pre-employment education, life skills development, individual sessions, and pastoral services.

While in residential programming clients are provided support with finding employment, education and/or housing. When appropriate they are able to apply for home passes to practice their new found coping skills in their home environment.
